Our original style (“Yasmine”) is $1025 (US) custom made to your measurements which you send to us filled in on our measuring chart. The simplified center-zip or economy style (“Kitty”) is $825 (US). This covers any applicable taxes and shipping costs. We ship Priority Mail within the US, return receipt requested. Outside of the US, we use Air Parcel Post, return receipt requested. If the country you are ordering from does not have a reciprocal Return Receipt agreement with the US Postal Service we would normally insure the package. So far we are happy to report that there have been NO lost parcels or suits undelivered to our customers.
We guarantee that the suit we send you will have the measurements you sent us, and the stylistic features you requested. If it does not, we will replace it. (In some critical areas we allow a little overage for ease of movement.) Since the suit is cut only for you, however, we generally don't accept returns for refund since your suit is unlikely to fit anyone else. Regardless, we would never sell anything but a perfectly new garment to any client.
We think our prices are quite reasonable since we go to a lot of trouble to adjust our patterns to each of your measurements. This is a high-quality, labor-intensive individualized product. We knew of a tailor in New York some years ago who did custom-measured leather suits. He did careful fittings but his prices were almost three times what we are charging today.
Your personal check is happily accepted, or money order. We have a number of European customers who send bankcheques payable in US Dollars. At present we don't accept credit cards because there is no real point; it would result in higher fees for you or for us and since we need 4 to 6 weeks to deliver your suit to you, there is no need for speedy payment. We must have payment in full before beginning your order.
